The Call for Papers for the upcoming 18th ESSE Conference is still open. We would like to encourage you to submit your proposals to ESSE 2026 which, as you know, will be held at the University of Santiago de Compostela from 31st August to 4th September 2026. The most relevant deadlines are summarised below:
- Submission of proposals for posters to esse2026@usc.es by 31st January 2026
- Submission of proposals for seminar papers to seminar convenors (see the list of seminars in the attached CFP) by 31st January 2026
- Submission of applications for the Doctoral Symposium via the application form by 31st January 2026 (please refer to the attached CFP).
The following plenary speakers have confirmed their participation at ESSE 2026:
- Karen Corrigan (Newcastle University)
- A. L. Kennedy(Writer and performer)
- Jopi Nyman (University of Eastern Finland)
