We welcome original articles that explore the intersections of literature, history, art, music, film, politics, economics, popular culture, institutions, geography, and related disciplines to promote a comprehensive understanding of the American experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition to original research articles,&nbsp;<em>JAST<\/em>&nbsp;welcomes interviews with prominent figures in American Studies, as well as critical reviews of books and films that engage with current cultural and academic debates. Standard book and film reviews should not exceed 1,500 words; however, depending on the nature of the work under review, shorter or longer submissions may be considered. Prospective reviewers are encouraged to consult with the relevant editor regarding appropriate length before writing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please note that submission for this issue does not guarantee publication in the Spring 2026 Issue, as the duration of the peer-review and revision process cannot be predicted.
