The usual term of office is three years. Candidates, who should preferably have been involved in ESSE affairs or have had similar positions in their national associations, should submit, as e\u2013mail attachments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a letter of application<\/li>\n<li>a short (2\u20133 page) CV<\/li>\n<li>letters of support from two national associations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Each national association can also nominate candidates for any of these two positions (only one candidate for each position). In this case, national associations will submit, as e\u2013mail attachments:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>a letter, signed by the association\u2019s President, describing the candidate\u2019s competence for the specific office<\/li>\n<li>a short (2\u20133 page) CV of candidate(s) proposed<\/li>\n<li>a letter, signed by another association\u2019s President, seconding this proposal<\/li>\n<li>a letter in which the candidate will express his\/her agreement with the candidacy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications and nominations must be submitted electronically,\u00a0<strong>by 30 April 2022 at the latest<\/strong>, to the members of the Nominations Committee:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Montse Mart\u00ednez V\u00e1zquez (Chair):\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:mmarvaz@upo.es\">mmarvaz@upo.es<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Carlo M.
