Apart from professors and lecturers, assistants, it also welcomes part-time teachers and advanced students.
The current Chairperson is Prof. Isabella Buniyatova.
The current secretary is Dr Roman Vasko.
The association holds annual conferences.
It publishes a newsletter, entitled "USSE Newsletter", published four times a year.
It publishes a journal, the "USSE Messenger".
